Re : ManageEngine ADManager Plus service won't start after upgrade

Hello Rich, 

This is a wield.java issue that occurs due to disk space constraints. Replacing a few files will fix this issue. 

 1. Stop ADManager Plus. (Start --> All Programs --> ADManager Plus --> Stop ADManager Plus).   

(Start --> All Programs --> ADManager Plus --> Stop ADManager Plus)

In case you have installed ADManager Plus as a NT Service, stop the service (Start --> Run --> type services.msc ---> Stop "ManageEngine ADManager Plus" )

 

 2. Go to <Installation Dir>\ManageEngine\ADManager Plus\lib (Ex: C:\Program Files\ManageEngine\ADManager Plus\lib) and Rename Four files 1. petinfo.dat , 2. product.dat, 3. Free.xml and 4. AdventNetLicense.xml with_bak extension. (Eg: AdventNetLicense_bak, petinfo_bak)

 

3. Download the attached file " Fix.zip"  from this post and save "petinfo.dat", "product.dat" , "Free.xml" to the location <Installation Dir>\ManageEngine\ADManager Plus\lib

 

4. Open the command prompt (right click run as administrator). 

 

5. Go to location  <Installation dir>\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine\ADManager Plus\bin>run.bat(execute this file to start the product) Finally the query ends with 

 

 

6. Start ADManager Plus service.

 

7. Apply the registered license in the product console once.
